memandangkan saba terlalu rindu dengan dapur di DUBAI....maka terhasillah phirni ni..klo kt dubai..die eja firni aje kot.....dulu mase kt dubai saba rase saba terlalu enjoy makanan kt sane..yela..halal...nk makan mmg sgt2 la senang..asian...indian...filipino..japanese..chinese ..thai semua ade...senang cite hanya memerlukan poket yg tebal aje nk makan ape...hehe yelaa bile international food..rege mesti melambung tinggi...ade yg minum air pon paling murah rege dlm aed10 gitu..air paling cikai punye..hehe...mase kt sane slu jugak makan kt restoren terkenal GAZEBO..aduhaii rindu plak dgn mirdiff city centre..kt gazebo ni..nk rase nasi beriani pure mcm india mmg sgt2 rekemen..mcm2 menu...dan kdg2 mmg xlarat nak makan sbb byk sgt...bile masuk sane...mulelaa gatai ni pilih mcm2 sbb nk try nk tau ape rase die..tercube laa firni ni khas utk dessert...mak aii mmg jatuh cintan gitu smpi order balik kali kedua...sedap sgt2...

- Ingredients
a few saffron (kesar) strands- kami x letak
1 ltr milk (full cream)
4 tbsp long grained (basmati) rice
6 tbsp sugarcardamom-beberapa biji buah pelaga3 sudu besar kismis - kami tambah2 sudu besar kelapa kering -kami tambahFor The Garnish:
A few chopped almonds (badam)
A few saffron (kesar) strands - kami x letakMethod- Dry roast the saffron strands in a small pan for 10 seconds. Add 1 tbsp of milk and keep aside.
- Soak the rice in water for about 1 hour.
- Drain, wash and drain again. Pat dry on an absorbent kitchen towel and blend in a mixer to a coarse powder.
- Add ½ cup of cold milk and mix well to make a paste. Keep aside.
- Boil the rest of the milk and gently stir in the rice paste.
- Cook for about 15 minutes on a slow flame, while stirring continuously.
- Add the sugar and saffron mixture and simmer for a few minutes.
- Pour into earthenware containers and keep aside to cool.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Serve chilled garnished with almonds and saffron strands.
